The Department of Political Science was started in 1966 at U. G. level. In 2007 department of political Science was expanded to P.G. level. The department of Political Science aims to inculcating the values of higher learning and research among the student. The department regularly conducts Seminar and workshop and celebrates Constitution day, National Voters day. This department is very well known for their curricular and extra-curricular activities.
